How the Necron Dominion resource is tied to the Power Matrix, and what the publisher has not published about its economy.

A resource linked to the Power Matrix

The Necron faction deep dive connects Dominion directly to the size of the Power Matrix. The publisher says that a bigger Matrix produces more Dominion for the war effort. This makes Dominion part of the territory system rather than an isolated resource label: the player’s expanding network of Necron buildings changes the field and the income associated with it.

The same source explains that many Necron buildings can be constructed only on the Power Matrix and that each building spreads it further. It also describes units on the Matrix receiving additional benefits. The relationship is therefore confirmed at the design level: base expansion grows the field, the field changes Dominion income, and the field supports the army operating within it.

What Dominion is not yet a number for

The published text does not give a Dominion income rate, a storage cap, a spending list or a conversion rule. It does not say how quickly the resource rises at different Matrix sizes, whether every Necron building contributes equally, or how the value changes between game modes. Those are exactly the details that would turn a concept into a build order, and they are not in the authority used here.

This page therefore treats Dominion as confirmed and its relationship with the Power Matrix as confirmed, but keeps exact economy advice out. The reliable pre-release question is where the resource comes from, not how many seconds it takes to reach a particular threshold. Until the studio publishes those values or the released game makes them measurable, precise Dominion timings remain unconfirmed.

No cost, build time, hit points, range, damage or squad size here — none of it has been published, by anyone. The game has not shipped and no playable build has produced figures that can be checked. Those rows appear the day the numbers exist.
