Squighog Riders

Unit · Orks

The named mounted Ork unit, its relative speed and Stikka spears, with no guessed production or counter values.

Mounted Beast Snagga Boyz

Deep Silver names the Squighog Riders as mounted Beast Snagga Boyz. The official description says they move relatively quickly on the battlefield before striking with Stikka spears. It also says that a group of these Boyz can show up somewhere quickly and make a big dent in an opponent’s forward lines. That establishes a mobile, forward-pressure role without giving a numerical movement value.

The unit belongs to the Orks’ published combination of aggression, mobility and close-range impact. The source does not state the squad size, the spear damage, the exact speed, the cost or the conditions that make a forward-line attack succeed. Those missing values are kept out rather than inferred from the tabletop game or another Dawn of War title.

Mobility is not a guaranteed counter

The source does not name a unit that reliably beats Squighog Riders, nor does it publish a range or timing at which their advance becomes unsafe. The published claim is that they move relatively quickly and can damage forward lines; it is not that they always reach the target or win the engagement. Any counter guide would need more information than the announcement supplies.

The composition mistake to avoid is treating mobility as a complete army plan. Squighog Riders are confirmed as mounted Beast Snagga Boyz with Stikka spears and a pressure role. Exact durability, cost, pathing, anti-armour performance and counterplay remain unconfirmed before release.

No cost, build time, hit points, range, damage or squad size here — none of it has been published, by anyone. The game has not shipped and no playable build has produced figures that can be checked. Those rows appear the day the numbers exist.
