Meganobz
Unit
Checked as of · 1 official source · 2 min read
The named Ork unit whose published upgrades switch between long-range firepower and short-range area damage.
Two named upgrade directions
The Ork faction deep dive names Meganobz and says they can be upgraded with either Kombi-Rokkits for long-range firepower or Kombi-Skorchas for short-range area-of-effect damage. Deep Silver presents that choice as a way to adapt the unit to a player’s approach and to single targets or groups of enemies. Those are the confirmed equipment roles, not a hidden stat table.
The source uses Meganobz to illustrate flexibility in Ork troop building. It does not publish the exact cost of either upgrade, the range, the area size, the damage, the squad composition or the level required to access the choice. The unit page therefore explains the published decision without pretending that one option is always optimal.
Choose for the threat, not by memory
The official text supports a simple distinction: Kombi-Rokkits are described for long-range firepower, while Kombi-Skorchas are described for short-range area damage. It does not name the exact enemy types that each option defeats most efficiently, and it does not say which upgrade should be selected in every matchup. That missing counter information is intentional here.
The composition error would be treating the upgrade choice as a permanent identity rather than a published adaptation tool. Meganobz are confirmed, as are the two named weapon paths and the reason Deep Silver gives for choosing between them. Their cost, survivability, timing and exact counters remain unconfirmed until the game or a later authority supplies them.

No cost, build time, hit points, range, damage or squad size here — none of it has been published, by anyone. The game has not shipped and no playable build has produced figures that can be checked. Those rows appear the day the numbers exist.
